Contents... Inside this collection you will find articles, academic papers, machinima, images, reviews, blog entries, and popular websites that address the topics surrounding K-12 education in Second Life. Still in its infancy, Second Life  education is emerging as an important modern pedagogy and therefore the resources associated with this evolution, be they anecdotal or academic, will greatly benefit those who choose to explore the medium.  The history, current implementation, research, curriculum development, trials, successes, and failures comprising the collective experience of the pioneers in Teen Second Life educators are deserving of preservation and availability to all who seek them.  Wherever possible, permissions have been obtained for use in this collection. (see copyright and permissions page.)  .(Read more)

Educators are now purchasing and designing virtual learning spaces in Second Life that will enable students to demonstrate knowledge and explore concepts while using technology in a meaningful way. The virtual platform is ...(Read more)
